Conference and division set up
The AFC has the 3 Tecmo Bowl super powers which consist of the Giants, Bears, and 49ers. The Colts looks to be the 4th playoff team. Redskins and Vikings will have a hard time finding many wins in conference.
The NFC is a roll of the dice this season, especially with the most powerful teams residing in the other conference. The Browns should be the favorite, but have stumbled in seasons past. The Dolphins has some tough match-ups with Denver and Seattle to overcome. The Raiders and Cowboys will need to overcome teams looking to stop their run games at all costs. The Broncos and Seahawks are good bets to do well, but with every team facing a difficult inter-conference slate, it's hard to predict who will come out on top.

Its been a crazy Tecmo Bowl season so far. Lots of upsets and unexpected results this year. Surprisingly so, the Colts have managed to grab the lead in the conference headed into the final week. They control their own destiny as they try to get the #1 seed.
The Giants have sewn up their division as they look to finish strong. At the moment they are the odds on favorite to win the championship this year. They have played their best ball in the 2nd half of the season.
The Bears lost 2 consecutive games but look to rebound. The 49ers have struggled like never before and need to beat the Giants in the finale just to reach .500. Lots of inexplicable losses for SF. They have lost their "clutch" ability this year in the 4th.
The Dolphins and Raiders have been the class of their conference. The log jam at the bottom will fight it out in the final week as they try to secure a home game in the playoffs. Raiders and Dolphins have been pretty unstoppable as the home team(player 1). Whoever gets the #1 seed will be the favorite to reach the championship game.
