What is the mission & vision?

    The directive for the creative members of this website is to project to the gaming community that classic Nintendo titles Tecmo Bowl & R.B.I. Baseball still have a great amount of entertainment value to offer.  It's been over 20 years since their initial releases, and they continue to deliver us endless enjoyment.

    We use 3 separate approaches to convey this message here.

    1. -The Past-  Our passion for these games is the vehicle by which we cater to the great sense of nostalgia from yesteryear that's surrounding Tecmo Bowl & R.B.I. Baseball.  We strive to show that these games are as absolutely enjoyable today as they were during our youth.
    2. -The Present-  We showcase advanced game-planning ideas, & numerous strategic elements that have taken the games to the next level.  Over the years this has moved our experience from a challenge that's similar to checkers, into more of a chess like battle.  We've moved to the point in our understanding of these game, that they've become a cerebral battle now.
    3. -The Future-  Our various formats & styles of competition illustrate numerous ways that keep the games fresh & interesting for us as we expose the many ways by which we play.  Our seasons for instance, create endless storylines & a strong sense of intrigue as the games play out and we march towards crowing the next champion.  We also showcase other competitions that can be played on much smaller scale.  All of this continues to further hold our interested in the games as we move forward.  We encourage others to incorporate these forms of competition into their gaming as well to help keep a high interest level.

    While Tecmo Bowl & R.B.I. Baseball are obviously archaic by today's standards, there's unfortunately a common misconception that they're simple games.  We strive to convey the complexities that are found in the games.  Add in the strong factor of entertainment, strategy, & interesting ways to play & you have a recipe for a couple great games that easily stand the test of time.        
    These were the great games of our youth, and they have gotten better with age.

    The strategic elements of Tecmo Bowl & R.B.I. Baseball 

    Lengthy study and research from recent years has become the catalyst in transforming Tecmo Bowl into the ultimate cerebral battle.  Specific game planning for each team and all possible match-ups has pushed the competitive edge to the highest level. Intricate plans have been devised on how to attack the personnel of each defense and how to exploit any weakness an offense has in the playbook 

    The same sentiment on the complexity of R.B.I. Baseball rings true as well. By dissecting the R.B.I. Baseball ratings on a player by player basis, we have achieved a phenomenal understanding of the game. This knowledge can be placed forth into all managerial decisions to give your team optimal results, while limiting the opportunities the opposing team has to use its full potential.
