The national League features the 2nd most powerful batting line-up in R.B.I. Baseball. This batting order strikes fear into the heart of any pitching staff. Tim Raines is one of the greatest lead off hitters in R.B.I. Baseball Raines has decent power, bats from the left side, & very fast. Raines sets the table for the N.L.
Looking at the middle of the order you find Andre Dawson, Eric Davis, and Mike Schmidt who give you a trio of powerful mashers. With Schmidt batting 6th you have solid power deep down the order. The national league's line-up leaves a little to be desired with a few lack-luster bats in the mix. However, their solid group of bench players pick up the slack & make them formidable from top to bottom. |

Adding Dale Murphy into the batting order for Ryne Sandberg gives the N.L. a massive boost at the top. Pedro Guerrero adds some power as well subbing in for Benito Santiago.
John Kruk with the pinch hit power bonus can add a little pop late in the game, and Tony Gwynn has good speed. |
